John Krug
is
a Photographer, Designer & Digital Creator Based in
the New York Metropolitan Area
His specialties include photography, graphic design, video, creative direction, & social media with a keen eye for engaging viral content.
He currently serves as the head of photography for AFTR PRTY NYC, one of New York City’s leading multimedia publications.
John earned his start as a creative working as a graphic designer for an independent film studio, collaborating with countless filmmakers to bring their ideas to life. His work appeared in retail stores and libraries as well as on streaming services including Amazon, HBO Max & Apple. In 2018 he began to expand into other mediums, adding clients from the sports & music industries.
Since then, he has most notably photographed artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Future, Steve Lacy & Snoop Dogg at many of the tri-state area’s most iconic venues & music festivals. These include Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, Governors Ball, Rolling Loud New York & Made In America.
In addition, he was recently part of the official in-house media team for the 2023 Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C.
In 2018, he began his streetwear brand “Desolate” which amassed thousands of visitors and customers worldwide. All designs and products were fully original and showcased John’s versatility and attention to detail as a creator.
In 2022, he graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey earning a B.A. in Visual Communication Design
